Terms and Conditions for Programs, Products, Services, and Resources

Effective Date: February 1, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all programs, products, services, and resources offered by College Consulting & Career Coaching, LLC, dba 4C, LLC (“4C,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or using any 4C offering, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms apply whether access is purchased directly, gifted, or provided through a promotional or partnership arrangement.

1. Scope of Applicability

These Terms apply to all 4C offerings, including but not limited to:

  • Digital products and self-paced programs

  • Guided family cohorts and group programs

  • One-on-one college admissions and career consulting

  • Workshops, webinars, and live trainings

  • Downloadable resources, tools, templates, and planning materials

  • Any future programs, services, or educational resources developed by 4C

Additional program-specific details (e.g., duration, access period, pricing) may be provided at the point of purchase and are incorporated by reference into these Terms.

2. Parties Covered (Household-Centered Model)

4C programs are designed to support students within the context of their family or support system.

Unless otherwise stated, access is granted under a Household License, which includes:

  • The participating middle or high school student

  • The student’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s)

  • Adult caregivers living in the student’s household, OR a parent/guardian-approved designated Family Supporter as defined below

Designated Family Supporter (Non-Household Adult)

A Family Supporter is an adult approved by the student’s parent/guardian to support the student’s planning process, such as:

  • A mentor

  • Extended family member

  • Godparent

  • Trusted family friend

This inclusion exists to promote equitable access and support for students. The Family Supporter receives access solely for supporting the student and is bound by all confidentiality, non-sharing, and intellectual property terms.

Only one non-household Family Supporter is permitted per license unless written permission is granted by 4C.

3. License & Permitted Use

Household License

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • Each purchase grants one non-transferable household license

  • Access is for personal, non-commercial use only

  • Content may not be shared outside the approved household/support structure

Prohibited Uses

Clients may not:

  • Share login credentials or access links

  • Allow unauthorized individuals (teachers, tutors, counselors, organizations) to access content

  • Copy, record, screenshot, upload, or distribute materials

  • Use content for school, organizational, instructional, or commercial purposes

  • Publish materials to social media, cloud storage, or group platforms

This is not a school, district, or organizational license.

4. Scope of Services (Consulting & Guided Programs)

Depending on the selected offering, services may include guidance related to:

  • College list development and admissions strategy

  • Applications (Common App, ApplyTexas, etc.)

  • Essays, résumés, and activity mapping

  • Testing strategy and academic planning

  • Financial aid, scholarships, and affordability conversations

  • Career exploration and decision-making frameworks

All services are advisory in nature. Any individualized or customized consulting is limited to one-on-one consulting engagements. Group programs, cohorts, and digital products provide generalized educational content and guidance and do not constitute individualized advising.

4C provides guidance, structure, and accountability—but participants and clients remain responsible for their own decisions, submissions, and outcomes.

5. Client, Student, and Family Responsibilities

Student Responsibilities

Students agree to:

  • Participate actively and honestly

  • Complete assignments and action steps

Family & Supporter Responsibilities

Supporting adults agree to:

  • Encourage student ownership and autonomy

  • Participate in scheduled family sessions

  • Communicate promptly and constructively with 4C

The most successful outcomes occur when families engage as supporters, while empowering students to take the lead in the process.

6. Fees, Payments, and Refunds

  • All fees are disclosed before purchase or enrollment

  • Full payment or required deposits are due as specified

  • Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing

  • Missed sessions, lack of participation or preparation, or scheduling conflicts do not entitle clients to refunds

  • Additional services beyond the agreed scope must be approved in writing

Late or failed payments may result in suspended or terminated access.

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

4C maintains the confidentiality of client information and complies with applicable data protection laws.

Clients agree that:

  • All program materials are confidential and proprietary

  • Content may not be shared with third parties

  • Confidentiality obligations survive termination of access

8. Intellectual Property

All original content, including but not limited to videos, documents, frameworks, templates, and curriculum, developed by 4C, LLC, is the intellectual property of 4C, LLC. All materials are provided for personal use only and may not be shared or redistributed.

No ownership rights are transferred.

Unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution may result in:

  • Immediate termination of access (without refund)

  • Legal remedies as permitted by law

9. Feedback & Contributions

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas submitted to 4C may be used to improve current or future offerings. Such submissions become the property of 4C and do not entitle the contributor to compensation or ownership.

10. Communication & Scheduling

Communication methods vary by program type to ensure clarity, efficiency, and appropriate support boundaries:

  • One-on-One Consulting Services
Communication may include phone calls, video sessions, and real-time discussions during scheduled meetings. Follow-up communication and coordination outside of sessions typically occurs via email or text.

  • Cohort-Based Programs
Primary communication occurs via email or text for updates, reminders, and follow-up questions. Live interaction occurs during scheduled cohort sessions; unscheduled phone communication is not standard for cohort programs.

  • Digital Products & Self-Paced Programs
Communication is conducted primarily via email for access support, administrative inquiries, and general questions. Digital products do not include individualized phone or session-based communication unless expressly stated.

  • Response Time & Availability
Standard response time for non-urgent communications is within 48 business hours. Weekend and holiday availability is not guaranteed.

  • Scheduling & Rescheduling
At least 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling any scheduled session.

Repeatedly missed sessions or non-participation may result in service review or termination.

11. Term, Suspension, & Termination

  • Access begins upon purchase or activation. However, synchronous program participation and live session access begin on the scheduled start date of the applicable cohort or service.

  • Access continues for the duration specified in the program or product description.

  • 4C may revoke access for violations of these Terms.

  • Confidentiality and intellectual property obligations remain in effect indefinitely.

12. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

4C, LLC provides educational guidance, tools, and advisory support related to college and career planning. 4C does not guarantee:

  • College admissions outcomes

  • Financial aid, scholarship awards, or funding decisions

  • Academic performance, enrollment, or career outcomes

All decisions, submissions, and actions taken by the student or family—including applications, financial aid forms, testing decisions, and enrollment choices—remain the sole responsibility of the client.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • 4C, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to participation in any 4C program, product, or service.

  • 4C, LLC’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the applicable program or service.

Clients agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless 4C, LLC, its owners, contractors, and representatives from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

  • Actions or decisions made by the student or family

  • Information provided by the client that is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading

  • Use or misuse of 4C materials or recommendations

  • Interactions with third-party platforms, institutions, or service providers (e.g., colleges, testing agencies, application platforms, financial aid systems)

13. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or participation in any 4C, LLC program, product, or service through good-faith informal discussions prior to initiating formal proceedings.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally:

  • The parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation in San Antonio, Texas.

  • If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

  • Arbitration shall take place in San Antonio, Texas, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Each party shall be responsible for its own attorneys’ fees and costs, unless otherwise required by law or awarded by the arbitrator.

To promote efficient and fair resolution, the parties agree that any dispute will be brought on an individual basis, and not as part of a class, collective, or representative action.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, 4C, LLC retains the right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property, proprietary materials, or confidential information.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
